But have you heard of Chadrika Pujari who had a huge dream, way beyond her league and held on to it no matter what challenges and obstacles were thrown her way. Her family moved from Karnataka to Pune. Her mother is a domestic helper and her father takes on small jobs.stretching every rupee and tightening their belts till it hurt just to survive.
At 10 she joined a small boxing club set up to keep children away from drugs.Though the facilities were sparse she held on to her dream.As her talent grew, so did costs but her coach did not stop believing in her and her parents chose sacrifice
And today, that journey has led her to Bangkok, where she stands as India’s gold medallist at the World Boxing Futures Cup 2026.
Should we not celebrate her.!
