MADANPUR KHADAR
Khadar centre started in 2007 as a residential support for some children and for women empowerment programs. Very soon it became an education hub serving many underprivileged children.
After School Education
Over 300 students receive quality education support from class 1 to 11th.
Emphasis is on having equal number of boys and girls.
Not only are all the students showing remarkable performance in academics and are rank holders, they are also achieving great feat in extra curricular activities.
Centre has a library with a huge collection of books on varied topics including story books.
Computer Skills
In Khadar centre, every child enrolled , gets an opportunity to learn basic computer skills. This is a great source of motivation for many to join Project WHY. There is a dedicated computer room with a full time computer teacher.
Skill Development
Skill training in tailoring, a six months course, is offered to women. This course has always been in high demand.
1000+ women have been trained till now. Many have started to earn and others are saving money otherwise spent on stitching.
