The journey continues, from containing dropout rates the task is now to aim at getting high marks. Every student is taught to give up studying by rote and to learn to comprehend and understand. Access to varied teaching material is encouraged. Moreover the phobia for mathematics and English is gently removed, and the importance to master all subjects slowly imparted. Adolescents from underprivileged backgrounds have extremely poor self esteem and a wide range of creative activities are encouraged to develop self confidence and self-perception. This done sports, theatre and debates. Peer group interface on social pressures is also encouraged. Over 150 children have successfully cleared their class X Boards and over 50 have passed their class XII. Many of our students have secured top positions in their respective schools.

The junior secondary is a recent programme. In the initial stages all secondary classes were clubbed together. The junior secondary reaches out to class VI to VIII and includes a wide range of activities. For more click HERE.

The why secondary support centre began in 2001 with a handful of class X students. Today it reaches out to over 100 students from class IX to XII! This is the place where failures become toppers and everyone is a winner. The credit goes to the small committed bunch teachers who steer this activity. Drop by any time and you will find the tiny classrooms bursting at the seams. The students are so engrossed in their work that you can remain standing for a long time before you get noticed.
